Getting close to xmas

Well school is finally over with until and IF I can go back for term 3. Tuition was expensive so I could only pay what I had in my account, which so happens to be an entire paycheck for the month. What I will do for the rest of the month? psh hell if I know! Anyway. Trying to fight off being sad- garage door broke my cat's neck and killed her. Ya so much for a happy xmas. Seems like this time of year always brings me the most sadness regardless of how cold and snowy it is outside. Lost two cats last year, same time of year. Not to mention the brother of the one that got killed has been missing for a few days. Trying to keep my head up about it, hoping it's just because we are puppysitting and he got frightened off. ugh.

I guess even with all that shit to deal with, I still am rather blessed. I have the most amazing family including those furry kids of mine( i adore them more then life itself), and I get to spend some time with my sister while she is home on break from college (yikes!), I've got a great job that I love to go to everyday and my friends are amazing. So all in all my life is full and most of the time I am very happy. Doctor does say I'm in remission from depression so that's a plus! I don't know how many people will read this but regardless I'll keep my speech short- If you or someone you know is suffering from depression- GET HELP!! It will save your life. Therapy and medication has made me look at life in a different way and now I truly appreciate how precious every moment we have on Earth is. Don't be afraid to ask, this biggest step in recovering from depression is to admit that you have it and seek help. Trust me, you'll feel a whole lot better! :D

Well I've been meaning to start this blog a long time ago, but procrastination on school work helps clear some space up. So right now I work at a preschool and I'm attending college full time to get my elementary education degree. Hope to teach elementary art someday. I'm obsessed with animals and activism and conservation. I love everything sci-fi, as my name clearly states. So that about sums up my attention span for now. Time to watch tv and prepare for Criminal Minds! teehee!
